Saturday night at The Smith. One of our favorite restaurants in the city (which happened to be a default because of the close proximity in a cab). Bundled up for a night on the town. Always a treat— great drinks, and the Jalapeno Cheddar grits are divine.

Trying to incorporate more fresh, vegan foods into my diet during the week. A great reminder for some great vegan protein ideas!
I nearly squealed when I stumbled upon this photo on pinterest. I have had this idea for a while to store the ridiculous large amount of jewelry that I own. A great visual to see this vision come to fruition (and YES- I will be on the lookout for apothecary jars ASAP).

Saturday’s are for:
Treating my footsies after a long week. Just got back from a MUCH needed mani/pedi.

After nearly a year of being on hiatus, I may be back to regular posting on my little corner on the web. I have realized that all of my little thoughts need a place to collect— this just may be the place to reconvene.

Mint has been everywhere in apparel this spring. In fact, I think it is relevant to call the color one of the most innovative of the season. In addition to stylistic pieces, I am also LOVING mint as a canvas for home decor. The hue of the color can range from invigorating (brighter) to soothing (more matte). In addition- Mint green goes with just about every type of flooring- from dark hardwoods, to natural linen- mint is a color that can be an asset to any home. I also love pairing this pastel with brighter hues and “pops” of color. While I am not in the market to paint my apartment anytime soon (and am partial to my lovely gray walls), mint would be a close second for consideration.
